       THE FACTS    The team traveled to Iowa and needed a win to secure a game at home to start the playoffs. In the first quarter the Rage found themselves down 13-0 at one point. The River City’s defense came to life to slow down the Bandits. That is when the offense exploded with 24 points in the second quarter and on their way to a 41-27 victory and an enjoyable ride home with their third victory in a row.

      THE FACTS   As thunder was cracking on the outside of the Family Arena, the Rage were rumbling to their second victory in a row on the inside. With one of the most exciting plays this year for the team, defensive lineman JAMAL COOPER took the ball out of the hands of the Bloomington Extremes’ halfback as he was heading toward the goal line and ran the other way for a 49-yard touchdown to give the Rage a lead for the first time in the game. Eventually the hometown club won in overtime on a one yard run by their QB RYAN MAIURI 32-29.

BLOOMINGTON, IL - The RiverCity Rage Professional Indoor Football Team’s season came to a conclusion with a 33-7 loss in the Eastern Conference Championship game against the Bloomington Extreme. RiverCity closed out the year with a 7-9 record while Bloomington improved to 8-7 on the year and advanced to the United Indoor Football League Championship game on July 12 against the three-time league champion Sioux Falls Storm.

St. Charles, MO – The RiverCity Rage defeated the Sioux City Bandits in round one of the UIF playoffs, 37-33, at the Family Arena Saturday night. The win propels the Rage into the Eastern Conference championship game at Bloomington, IL against the Extreme on Monday, June 30th. The Rage scored the go-ahead touchdown with just 37 seconds remaining and their defense held on as the clock ran out on the Bandits.

St. Charles, MO – The RiverCity Rage will host the Sioux City Bandits this Saturday night in round one of the UIF playoffs. The kickoff is set for 7:00 at the Family Arena in St. Charles. This season marks the fourth straight year in the playoffs for the Rage. The Rage defeated the Bandits, 41-27, in Sioux City just two weeks ago. However, Rage Head Coach Ken Stills is not taking anything for granted this week.
